Hellloooo,
Today i am going to be writing about the homeopathic and Chinese medicine. I will not be writing about the natural path and the neurologist. So this will be my last post about my migraines, and then i will move onto another event that has changed my life.
Going to see the homeopathic doctor wasn't very interesting. All she did was try to figure out what was wrong in my body by eliminating some foods. She also took 4 tubes of blood and had to send them off to a lab. The blood test was so they could determine if i was allergic to any foods and my allergic reaction was getting headaches. It turned out that I was not allergic to anything only cow's milk a bit so I have to try and stay away from it. Also, she gave me a list of trigger foods. Trigger foods are foods call triglycerides that could trigger my migraine. Some of the foods that i could not eat included: orange cheese, yeast, tomatoes, cocoa, chocolate, peanuts, etc. I tried to eliminate these foods. It started to work but then after a couple of weeks it stopped working. It is very hard to take away some of those foods because they are usually in your everyday meal.
Chinese medicine was something different. I went to an eastern healing centre and i tried multiple things. I got deep tissue massage on my neck, acupuncture, and i tried multiple different herb pills. The deep tissue massage did not help my neck so we eventually stopped after awhile. I have tried acupuncture before but we thought it might of been different at the eastern healing centre, but it turned out that it was no different that so we stopped doing that too. They made me drink small bottles of snake bile which is liver juice of a snake. Now that was disgusting! That did not help either so i stopped. They also gave me other pills that were made out of different kinds of herbs, those did not work either so i eventually just stopped going there. My family has tried everything for my migraines and nothing has worked so far. It gets very frustrating but we are hoping that i just grow out of them.
